strangulation death time?

Does anyone know the death time for complete carotid cut off? Last Act book says 10mins but that seems too short in comparison to 20 mins for partial.

I'm going to call the police as I'm doing it and tell them to come find me. I live in a very rural area with lots of fields and woodlands so it'll take then a long time. I want them to find me before my parents wake in the morning, don't necessarily need to be found by then but want the police to be on it first.

Only problem i forsee is the survival instinct and having to almost rush yourself to make sure your not found in time. If you cant do it and they find you then youll be hospitalised. Its really not as easy a method as people think when your actually doing it.

trust me I've got no survival instinct. Im close to blackout every time. I have no other option unfortunately. It'll take them along time to find me. I'm not giving excact location. I just don't want my parents trying to frantically search for me whilst waiting for the police.

20-25's a safe bet, you can always investigate local response times if needed.
