What's the probability of dying by jumping from 100 metres onto concrete? And from 90 metres? 110 metres? Onto grass? Water? Does anyone know of any information about the probability of dying from various heights and/or onto various surfaces? That would be more use than knowing that 99% of people die from jumping but not knowing how many have just jumped from 20 metres into water or something.

That only seems to go up to about 12 metres, unless I'm reading it wrong.

Lostallhope has a section on this, and he also have some citations. Had a look at that site?
Edit: Darkmode is kinda bad on this site, it doesen't look like I added a link, but it is there.

Yeah, that just gives a %age for jumping generally, but doesn't say anything about what height from or what they're landing on.

you can die from falling 40ft you can survive from falling 150ft, who knows.
