Imagine dedicating your entire life to some profoundly spiritual and "godly" endeavour, but being celebrated every year after your death with drunkenness and debauchery.
I'm not disparaging of "drunkedness and debauchery." These are in fact the mainstays of my existence. I just find it funny how someone can live their life one way, and be remembered, or memorialized as something completely different.
