I am too depressed to worry about the seasons changing. Winter is essentially almost if not already over. In my state we experienced snow and low 30 degree weather (Which is normal), and now the weather is in the high 40s and 50s. And it looks like it will stay the way. I hate warm weather. It's just too much. Colder weather is just a wonder to look at and experience. Damn this world and seasons. Of course the weather would change when I am suffering.

So good to see a fellow cold weather entusiast! I am mourning for the winter wonderland that's gradually disappearing from here. I always get more depressed when spring is on its way to arrive.

I'm the opposite in that my depression always hits the hardest during the winter. I'm much more sensitive to cold weather than the average person too. There are some things I like about colder weather though, and it is beautiful, but I think warm weather brings beautiful sights too and can feel amazing if it's not too hot. That being said, I'm currently living in a very hot and humid region (I hate humidity) and summers are so gross and miserable here so in a way, I do kind of prefer winters right now since they are so mild and not as humid. My depression still seemed to get worse as usual though. Either way, I'm sorry you're struggling. I think weather can really affect a person's mental health and it sucks that the changing season is going to make you feel worse.

I'm also a cold weather lover. It actually lifts my mood a bit.

I hate it when it's too cold or hot. I prefer something like a NORMAL autumn or spring haha.
Anyway, wouldn't it be nice to move to another country which has mainly the seasons you like?
For instance, I think Canada is mostly cold right? All cold-lovers should live there lol.

On the other hand, Venezuela is a great place for hot-weather lovers.

For me it's just too hot, if the weather goes over 30°c/80°F.
That's why I'm glad that I moved to an apartment with an basement, which I will use during the summer for chilling there and work on some motorcycles.
If you guys also would want to do something similar to my idea but don't want to run a very long LAN cable, just get a Xiaomi WiFi Range Extender and put it near your basement window. I used to use this one last year and the price for this device is very low.
Just remember to make sure that the adapter is compatible with the mains sockets in your country

For me the nice thing about cold winters is it makes simple things really nice, like a blanket. In the summer it's thrown on the ground and ignored but when it's below freezing that neglected blanket is wanted again. As for heat, people can have it. Having lived overseas for a while it was like living in a steam bath some days. At least old man winter will be back.

When I was a child I hated the sun, as my parents were so inconsiderate enough that they forced me to get burned under the sun. I was left for hours on the rocky beach of a lake without any hint of a shadow, because my father wanted to go fishing all the weekends and my mother wanted to get tanned. For several weekends of my summer holidays I was burned red.
Then the torture of the seaside started: painful itching for days, until my skin got used to all that sun.

When I was no more under their control, I learned to enjoy the good weather little by little, in small doses, to adapt my skin.
Until when an awful disease has started to cause me the worst symptoms even if I get a minimum sun exposure; inflammations in my eyes are the worst part.
So now I get terribly sad when there is good weather.
As a vampire, I have to shut all the curtains and avoid to get exposed to sunlight.

Winter or very cloudy or rainy days are the best.

I'm a night worker so I rarely see the sun and sleep during the day. One thing I like about fall/winter is you're kind of at the mercy of nature. Owning a home means there's stuff that needs to get done and winter isn't waiting. It forces me to get stuff done and afterwards I can look around and say "hey I got off my ass and was productive, ready for the cold!" Almost a settler kind of feeling but with a lot more amenities. Plus people usually are too cold to screw around and be jags all the time. Summer they've got time on there hands to just be a nuisance to the world.
