With ZERO, null, none, empty social circle. I actually enjoy talking with people irl, but every time I tried to make any social connections, people would either ignore me or be as passive as possible. Another example - last year I had an internship - all other student interns created a fb group and spent time together, but ofc no one invited me. Humans are social creatures and no surprise my brain starts malfunctioning when I can spend 2-3 weeks without speaking to anyone irl.

Sorry if it is unrelated, I just want to cry somewhere, but people on reddit will start giving you meaningless advices and people on 4chan will just make fun of you.

I guess I am in a similar situation. I am currently having my internship, I don't have any intern mates and I don't get along with my colleagues either.
Graduating soon and I realized I don't enjoy office jobs. Feeling lost and lonely in work.

I loathe office jobs specifically because of the fake social interactions that come with it. Social anxiety. I often feel like my presence alone rubs people the wrong way. I'm rather lucky to have a homebased, freelance job.

Have you tried volunteer work? I find that it satisfies that socializing aspect I crave ocassionaly. Good thing about it is that those people don't have to see me again, and I can produce enough extrovert juices to appear pleasant just to last me the day.

Foremost I would like to say congratulations on finishing your courses. May I ask what you studied?

As for being excluded from group activities: piss on them. The way I view it, if an individual or collection thereof determine I'm not good enough for their cliquish and vapid standards, so be it. Saves me the work of having to put up with those who may very well not fit or become an issue down the road.

I strongly second volunteering. Enriching, life-affirming, looks great on a reesumee and networks you personally and professionally with so many others who are worth your time and attention.

same here. Nobody wants anything to do with me. Don't worry about it. It's better to be yourself than to pretend to be someone else.

You can't live like this forever. Either you get your shit together and start a real life or you get a proper method and get it over with.

I was curious as to where you would want to talk about such things. I'm more of a homebody myself, so I'd rather hang out at someone's flat.

I ask because if you're an outside type, I'm sure you'll meet some people you can bond with. You may also happen upon a group function or institution that appeals to you.
