Song you associate with CTB?

Anyone else have a specific song, maybe one you liked a lot at a dark time in your life, that you now strongly associate with CTB?

For me, it's Dream by Imagine Dragons. About two years ago, that was one of my favorite songs, which also happens to be the point in time where I was closest to getting to CTB, (besides now, that is) I can no longer listen to that song without feeling depressed, suicidal, or at least remembering how miserable I was at that point in my life.

Thankfully, it wasn't my time yet, as I got help and managed to make it another year.

Just wondering if anyone else has a similar story of associating a song to this feeling.

I thought it would more appropriate to mention a song with lyrics unrelated to suicide. Ok maybe they could be related bc the name translates to English as "all light has faded." Still the rest of the song is gibberish to me, but in a brutal way.


I associate the structure of the song with my life. Sad and melancholic at first, later the tention starts building up. At the middle of the song, the voice of reason awakens and it has nothing pleasant to say (growling), eventually becoming more articulate (lyrics). Song (life) comes to an end with a triumphant outro. (Peace will soon take over life.)

I actually have a playlist of 113 songs on my Amazon music account that helps with my mental health.
But the band I associate with suicide, is a black metal band called Shining. The Swedish one, not the Norwegian one.
They have some songs in Swedish and some in English, so I can't actually understand it all.
According to their wiki page, they actively promote suicide in their lyrics and their have been a few incidents about people committing suicide to their music.
This is what the lead singer has said about it.
"Of course we support suicide, Shining support all that is negative in this bastard world of ours. We have had a couple of cases in the past with people whom have ended their lives under the influence or partially under the influence of our work and of course this is a true blessing indeed, yet we pray for increased numbers of fatalities.

This is one of my favourite bands, and I know that if/when my parents find out about this band, they are going to blame them for mine too.
My parents have blamed my music taste before as I listen to mostly metal and some rap but I find my music extremely helpful.
