Reason to ctb #672…
We are all surrounded by death and murder 24-7. Everyday.
Quick back story about me: I was raised Christian, and talking about murders in the Bible was a constant theme in church. "Person/group did this, God didn't like it, God killed them." Commence the brainwashing… "God said don't do this, you're going to Hell/God will kill you if you do that" and "don't you dare question it because you will go to Hell".
I'm sure your religion has similar stories.
If you can't relate to that, I'm sure you can relate to this though…
Death and murder are covered 24-7 in the news, with main stream media publicly reporting on every war or senseless killing they can get their hands on. Think War in Ukraine, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc, all publicly televised. Cop killing civilians, civilians killing civilians, "insert country/person here" killing "insert minority/group here".
Not to mention all the movies and video games focused on murder and death.
And who doesn't enjoy a good action movie, murder mystery, or horror movie, war game, first person shooter, hack n slash?
All considered "normal" to openly talk about with very little fear of backlash or consequence.
Crazy how it's "normal" to openly talk about people killing each other.
A good majority of people in this world actual celebrate people on people violence "as long as they're killing/hurting the people I don't like".
But if you start thinking and talking about killing your self, now everyone is concerned, now you're on a list, and thrown in a psych ward because that's not "normal".
"Here take these pills, be happy people are killing each other! And hey, while you're here, join the military/become a cop and kill somebody else for free!"
"And don't forget, it's perfectly okay to talk about who killed who today as long as you don't make it about yourself!"
