This is something morbidly funny.
Recently when all I could do is finding an end to everything, he said You know something you should consider, if you die now, you'll never know what the Cure's new album is like.

bit of context here: The Cure's been my ever favourite band since my teens, being the soundtrack to love and hopelessness. They've announced the release a "new album" for years now., hence my husband's reference to it. When I'm completely delusional, he says silly stuff like this.

Who's your favourite band/musician?

For me, it's Tool or Dream Theater. The former made us all wait for 13 years for a new album, which I did quite like. I think the Cure released their last album about 15 years ago or so?

Yes, the last one was absolutely ages ago. On their last tour they played many new songs, but no word about the bloody album

That is funny, i had a similar experience, i was at the lowest I've ever been at and was in the midst of only thinking of CTB constantly and i mean constantly. Then an add came up for the new Dune movie and i instantly thought, oh, i need to wait until after I've seen that movie. Made me laugh at myself.

black midi and Black Country, New Road are my top bands. I guess Car Seat Headrest too and Fiona Apple. Just goes to show how powerful art is lol. When I think about what I'm gonna lose and miss out on, like really deeply think about it, this stuff usually gives me the most pause.
