Also, it seems that the purity is 0.6% which is very low.
Is this what I need in the SN method?

I'm not sure but it seems likely that the 0.6% does refer to the purity, so it is too low and not what you want.

That purity is WAY too low. You want 95+ purity. 99% is even better.

Don't try looking for it physically, outside of agronomical shops. Even there you probably won't find it. This is a conventional sort of food seasoning.

"Nitric salt for meat-producing 0.6%. Do not use in ordinary salt quantities!" At the top. It continues to explain its use for seasoning of meat of red-pink color and enacting pathogenic bacteria to increase and prevent botullic toxins from forming in the meat (botullism is fatal). Best used under temps of no more than 20 deg. Celsius and relatove humidity of no more than 75%.

Date of expiration is no more than 24 months of the date of production.

Am not a russian, but still, I probably have it right.

You bought nitrite salt and not sodium nitrite, it says "nitrite salt, food grade" on the package
