no car, no money, nothing.

the only methods i'm currently considering are cutting, drowning, and household chemicals.

as a squeamish person, i find successfully ending my life through cutting to be unrealistic. but it's an option i guess.
drowning sounds painful, but it looks more tempting than ever. can i just stuff my face in a bin of water and inhale deeply? i know survival instincts will kick in, but without any help, is that fatal?
household chemicals are tempting too, but i need a confined space to use them. i CANNOT endanger others with whatever method i attempt.

i've already tried hanging countless times, it's a lost cause.

i don't expect much help or anything, i'm mostly just getting thoughts off my chest.

I tried and ill say, inhaling water out of bucket is barely possible. Your body will be there simply asking you "what in the actual fuck do you think youre doing" then proceed to ignore your desire to inhale. Plus if you do succeed, you might convulse yourself out of bucket. So your death would be from aspirational pneumonia or something like that, after couple hours or days. Ppl will try to save you. You probably wont stay in that bin. It will take hours if you convulse out and breathe air.

Chemicals have long reach, even through all the cracks. Dangerous.

Cutting will most likely fail.

Partial hanging will mostly fail unless youre drunk or sedated like that sweedish guy. Yes he used sedatives.

Full suspension can work but needs good spot.

Feel free to talk to me if you want to

Totally agree. Self drowning is very rare. Drinking bleach is undeterminable. I wish you luck on your journey and hope you find your way.

Cutting is doable if you sever an artery and bleed out. If you cut deep enough at that point you probably won't be feeling anything more. Buuuut blood loss is a crappy way to go, when you look at how it makes you feel. Something to keep in mind if you're squeamish.

I tried going that way before and it actually feels super fucking gross when you poke the artery with the knife. Weird tingly sensation that gave me back my survival instinct and made me consider other methods. Blah

I had a stomach ulcer once and I was anemic. It is not pleasant gasping for air. You will be in a lot of pain, and, success is slim.

You can try the shallow water blackout method. It's free and seems fairly painless.

They didnt mention wich, they just said "sedatives" along paracetamol and other thing. Wish they specified but i guess it was to prevent us from using it too. Might be zolpidem to be honest. Its a sedative sleeping aid

This works if you're patient enough to wait between drinks and can remember the amount of shots you took once you're drunk (maybe write them down or something?). I tried this - took Gaviscon and Pepto Bismol before hand - and at one point I got so drunk I lost count of the shots and started taking even more out of desperation. I ended up puking it all up anyway. I previously calculated that I needed 8 shots of vodka evenly spaced apart in order to pass out in the bathtub. It seems painless but tricky to execute.

Is that a different method? The shallow water blackout is when you hyper ventilate and then hold your breathe and go under water. You lose consciousness long before you run out of breathe and then drown.

Ahhhh, must be a different method. I remember the shallow water blackout as getting drunk enough just to pass out in the bathtub & drown. Like those stories where someone blackout drunk accidentally passes out into a shallow body of water and lacks the capacity to wake up and pull themselves out of it, except you're seeking this purposefully.

i thought you just hyperventilate really hard, then hold your breath underwater...

not that i honestly have any faith in the method, but i might try it i guess

Yeah that's what Smellanie said. I just remember the method as having the same name.

You might need to practice hyperventilating/how much you need to do. Apparently you can practice in a bathtub on your back facing up. If you do faint you are unlikely to die because you will just move up slightly and then can breathe. I'm not an expert but I would check the mega thread on it if you're interested. Good luck.
