I know this has been discussed and I have read through threads. I'm looking for some more insight. I have enough SN, Tagamet, aspirin, and tums to be successful. However the Meto I ordered over three weeks ago still has not shipped and it's coming from an international seller.
How do my odds fair without Meto? Is there something OTC sold in the USA that I can purchase?
Any and all information on this success would be appreciated.

I feel like this thread needs to edited into the SN guides.

Short answer no there isn't any OTC replacement. In terms of you chances, there's no statistical value realistically we can place on it. It's possible, but your chances of being sick are VERY HIGH. Again it's possible to be sick and still pass on but it depends on whether you throw up the SN or just bile.

Wouldnt Buccastem suffice? It's available otc. I've not tried SN so dont know how likely one is to be sick.

I've heard that meclizine is an ok substitute. Not as good as meto, but better than nothing.

I'm researching ginger root...

You should try a better known item...

Some people have done SN without any antiemetic, and caught the bus.
If you generally feel you are okay at "keeping things down", then perhaps you don't need antiemetic....

I think Buccastem might only be available in the UK.

If you don't have time to get meto, then perhaps you could get an "over the counter" anti-emetic :

A good option is :
Meclizine ( eg Dramamine Less Drowsy, check meclizine is on label )
