I'm not going to share the name of the source or seller, I don't even know if it's legitimate or pure yet, so please don't ask for it.
I feel like the unluckiest person on the planet when it comes to securing SN. I placed an order with DMC in late November, it shipped in early December. I stopped receiving tracking updates after 2 weeks, and after 2 months I assumed it was lost. Messaged DMC about this in February, he sent me 200g for cheaper to remedy this. After over a month I still haven't received it. I asked for tracking info for this order but I was never given it. At this point I am giving up on using DMC as a source (NOTE: these issues are not his fault. US mail just fucking sucks. I'm frustrated at a lack of tracking but it was my own fault for not asking for it sooner).
I've spent some time searching for a new source and it's been hell. Anything on the popular site will require a business account - and as easy as it is to make a business I have no viable address to use for it because I live with my parents and I'm not gonna use their address for a fake business. I've searched for Polish suppliers but none will ship to a US address except for one, and that one costs as much to ship as DMC and I would like to not spend that much again. While searching I stumbled across a source that claims to sell 25g of SN at 99% purity for decently cheap (still more than its worth though). I took a chance and ordered it, it'll hopefully arrive within the next few weeks (est delivery is late March/early April). I will update again with my findings after I receive and test this source, I remain hopeful though. I'm just tired of being so damn unlucky, I just want a way out and at this point I'll take a couple risks I guess.
Interesting side note: The seller messaged me after I placed my order detailing how it would be packaged. They said they sell it for 25g but always pack around 30g. They add a disclaimer stating no more than 6% SN should be used as preservative for foods. They mentioned the outside packaging would only be labeled as a preservative with no further indication. They also mentioned that they sell potassium nitrite, which I don't want, just found it interesting. This leads me to believe they probably understand what it's being used for. I guess we'll see what happens.
