Hello everyone. I am planning to CTB soon with SN but I have a fear about my cat.

If I vomit, is there a risk that my cat will eat or lick my vomit and die??

I really don't want anything to happen to her and it scares me...

Thanks for your help.

I was thinking this possibility is not impossible, make sure to lock him in another room is enough

I thought this too. Put the cat in a separate room with a litter tray and food/water

You should probably give her up to someone you can trust before you ctb if that's a concern.

This. Pet the kitty and tell them you love them before this and then make sure the room you choose to ctb in is closed off. Make sure to leave a note to the person finding you stating who the cat should go to and how to care for her. Also make sure you're found within a reasonable time so the food and water doesn't run out.

Please don't leave your cat like this.

Prep to make sure she will have a good life after you CTB.

You can make a will and sign up with Pet Guardian program, who will take your cat and ensure it'll be adopted by the right family. You can also name a trusted family member in your will who can take her.

I am preaching a choir here, but if you love your cat, try to solve whatever your problem is before deciding to CTB.

Your cat love you very much. You are the world to her. Don't make her suffer.

Better to give your cat away then die in from of it. Ask a family member to hold it while you take a weekend 'trip'.
