acid reducer accelerates the absorption that is crucial for SN. ranitidine differs from cimetidine in that it has prokinetic properties, is 7 times more potent, slower to act and does not affect cytochrome that metabolizes drugs so much. recommended daily dose is 300mg, which was also recommended before SN. ranitidine in combination with meto reduces vomiting and increases cumulative of meto. both have prokinetic properties so that ranitidine can be taken before meto because peak concentrations are reached after one to three hours. all this with diazepam should reduce vomiting to a minimum. Of course, this cannot be avoided if vomiting occurs immediately for, I don't know, disgust.
