So, I wouldn't be able to not eat. Is there any foods recommended for the period that I should probably be fasting?

I believe you only need to fast for 8 hours- or- the period you believe your stomach takes to clear- so- probably only have a light meal before the fast.

I do know what you mean though. My digestive tract isn't good and it's worse for not having food in it. I'm considering using night time/sleep time as my fasting period and taking it in the morning maybe. That said- I'm not massively knowledgable on the whole process, so- hopefully some more brainy people would be able to comment.
