Method SN or hanging?

I was wondering if you had the choice of using SN or hanging, what would you choose?
I have the option of both. What scares me is the suffering before death because life has made me suffer enough.

I recently miscarried and having a baby would have been life changing for me. I'm not in a regular relationship, although I know the guy.

It feels like one blow after another.

My main method is partial and SN is my second. It's very difficult to execute partial without that little push, trigger i would say. SN feels more easy to do without this extra thing and that's why i am trying to buy one but having a lot of problems when trying to find it. i was able to find only 97% not 98>

But anyway. partial is the way for me.

I'm sorry for all the suffering that has brought you to this point. I know that it can be dreadful when things just get worse. I feel like only you know what is the right thing for yourself, it is your life and your decision, but for me personally I am scared of hanging. The fear of failure is the main thing holding me back from attempting. I understand your feelings of not wanting to suffer before death, we all deserve the option to pass away peacefully. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

With hanging I'd be way to afraid to fail and then have damage to my brain. SN seems more reliable and peaceful.

I would choose SN.

I want to hang myself. short drop to assure it's done. If there is momentary suffering it won't be for long probably less than 30 seconds. And after that there will be an eternity of peace

My first choice is partial hanging, second one is SN.

Partial is super scary when you lose consciousness but it takes only 15 seconds. SN could be very painful and cause suffocation, also waiting for death during 20-40 minutes in agony can cause asking for help.

Since we are all aware of any "pros" I'll list some cons that come to my mind..

Hanging:
Lots of thrashing - very loud if near a door/wall in partial
Potential injury if unsuccessful (brain damage if rescued, possible injuries from falling if full suspension and "rope" doesn't hold or from thrashing in partial)
Difficulty in removing body from location (depending on environment and body weight/height)


SN:
Vomiting is likely (even with ae) and can cause failure
Taste is horrible
Potential unforeseen side effects (increased pulse is likely to induce a bit of panic, seeing coloration may cause "SI realization")depending on preparation
There's time to change mind (both a good and a bad thing)
Odd looking corpse, may be frightening if found by friends family … (though finding a person post-ctb isn't exactly fun regardless of method)

All CTB methods are going to have some level of negative "side effects" and are not likely to be a 100% "pleasant" experience unfortunately

How was the full suspension? Did it hurt? Did you pass out quickly? Did you suffocate?

Done correctly both can be relatively good. You have to cope with it for a short amount of time and then pass out, seconds with hanging and minutes with SN. That you will die does make everything a little less than pleasant.
