Glad you were able to successfully order SN but could you tell us a bit more about your desire to CTB? Have you thought this through? Don't you have absolutely any other option to deal with your situation?

Yes I have thought this through I know what I'm doing, everyone has thier reason to ctb and my are I cant deal with my mental health I'm always in pain I have no family or friends that would really care if I was here or not to be honest I'm happy to put my head to rest now.

It would be interesting to know which country you are in - so many people claim that SN is difficult/impossible to acquire.

How did you test your SN? Do you think it is necessary to test SN even if it is bought from a lab chemical supplier and indicates the chemical composition and purity on the bottle?

To test SN ; little drop of SN on paper, prick your finger and drop blood on it , it will turn brownish indicating that the SN works , gives you peace of mind .

I bought my SN online along with Primperan and Tagamet. The SN says 99.9% pure and was from a chemical supplier. Sealed in a plastic tub. So I have left it sealed until I'm ready. No reason to doubt it's the real deal.

But this will not indicate the purity of the SN, right? Is there a test that will allow me to determine the purity of my SN? Is determining the purity essential or is the blood test a sufficient indication of its CTB efficacy?

Also when should testing be done in order to minimize oxidation of the SN? Should it only be done right before CTB attempt or is it ok to do it like 2 days or a week before?

PubChem says that it oxidizes slowly when in contact with air but I am not sure how slowly and what level of air contact is acceptable. Like is the SN usually sold in a vacuum sealed bottle or is regular air contact which would occur from being kept in a non vacuum sealed bottle acceptable? Is the 3 year shelf life referring to it being kept in a non vacuum sealed closed container or a vacuum sealed closed container?

I would really like to know because being able to determine SN quality at lease 1 week before would give me a lot of peace of mind.

Sorry if this has already been addressed by an other thread. I have looked into the aquarium test thread but using it would require resources I would rather not utilize at this time.

You can wait till your ready to ctb and do the test for peace of mind . Mine is 99.6 % purity and ACS reagent grade which means it is equal to food grade so no worries . Everyone I know who used SN from various suppliers successfully ctb.

It would oxidize, but that just means it will become yellowish. It doesn't really expire. Regardless as long as you bought from a reputable company it is pretty likely to not be a concern if it is what it says it is.
