My SN from DMC arrived a few weeks ago. Everything went quite smoothly. I paid the order via AirBnB option and the seller shipped it quickly after the purchase.
Now I got an email from AirBnB in which they claim to ban my account, because I broke the rules of the application by making transactions to DMC. :( Besides they cancelled all my upcoming flat reservations that take place in the future, which is a pity as an enthusiastic traveller. They refunded my previous payment to DMC as well. There was a possibility to reply and provide an explanation, but I have a hunch it won't save them from deleting my account.
In retrospect, it would have been wiser to use a fake account. On the other hand, I have two separate AirBnB accounts and somehow AirBnB was able to send the same threatening emails to both of them!
Has anyone had the same problem? Did you give your statement to AirBnB's emails? And to those who are contemplating on purchasing via AirBnB: I suggest doing it with a fake account!
