Instead of drinking the SN with something, will it work if I lick little bits of it sort of like tasting spice?

Dear god no. Imagine doing that with 25 grams of normal salt. Gross. You'd probably need water to wash it down anyway.

It's not even that much water you mix it in- a shot glass full if I'm right? Like others have said- think the idea is to get the advised amount down in one go. Hopefully, that way the body will be overwhelmed before it's had a chance to realise what it is.
