Method SN - can dogs smell your body? - dont wanna be found

I'm gonna kms in some small forest and there might be people walking their dogs nearby.

I'm gonna take SN at around 00:00 (midnight) and i suppose ppl are gonna start walking their dogs only as early as 5 or 6 a.m.
By then, i should be dead already but i worry that dogs can smell my body? I don't wannna be found...

There are dead bodies all over the forest, squirrels, snakes, bears, deer etc. Unless you're near a path as they're walking by, you should be fine. If someone is playing with their dog (playing fetch) the dog would only smell your body once your dead....unless it's being playful and is curious, but you should be pretty far away I hope.

Im gonna be like 10 meters away from the path, which is blocked by bushes so i wont be seen. I'm gonna take the risk, i think theres a low chance im gonna be found. And within 6 hrs i should be a goner.

When dead yes, Cadaver dogs can tell within hours imo

I know it can take up to eight hours, but you'll almost certainly be past the point of saving by then. You should be fine.

Trying (really trying) to look on the bright side here - you can look at it as being found by a dog too early orrrrr you can view it as the goodest boi coming up to you because he cares haha.

Fuck me I stg I'd be psyched if some dog came up to me all sniffs and curiosity, even if I'm dead. I just really love animals. Source - profile pic.

By the time people walk their dogs you won't notice them finding you, but yes, especially now with the warmer weather, an off leash dog would likely find you fairly quickly.

My neighbours dogs started crying and scratching on an apartment door where someone had hunt himself in a bedroom. They could smell him through 2+ doors within 24 hrs.

ok good, so, since i'm gonna be dead, it won't matter. I was obviously more worried about being found by dogs BEFORE being dead.
