I want to CTB tonight but I have some concerns. First, I know that people who are overweight have more blood, so I'd have to take more SN than someone who's around 140 pounds. I weigh 3 times that. The obvious problem with that is that the more SN you ingest, the more likely you are to vomit….right? Anyways, my main methods aren't obtainable right now (jumping and car crash) I have no car and there's not a tall enough building nearby. My only option left is SN. SN seems risky and I just have a strong feeling im just gonna wake up and still be here.

Obese people have faster drug clearance and higher blood volume. Clearance is the time it takes for a drug to be removed from the blood. Basically drugs in obese people wear off faster so they need to take more to maintain desired drug levels. Now, I am unsure if faster drug clearance makes any difference with SN, which is a very strong oxidizer that changes hemoglobin into methemoglobin. The body is able to turn methemoglobin back into hemoglobin, but this process is different than the process used to clear drugs like caffeine out of the blood. So should an obese person take more SN based on drug clearance? There isn't enough data on SN to make a conclusion. Now blood volume. An adult male who weighs 180 pounds has approximately 5.5 liters of blood and an adult male who weighs 300 pounds has approximately 7.2 liters of blood. That's an extra 1.7 liters of blood which is an increase of about 30%. If you add 30% more SN then the total SN would be 32.5 grams. Now, should someone take extra SN based on their blood volume? I feel this is a personal choice. Sometimes less is more, especially if more means you vomit quicker. 25 grams is already several times the lethal dose for an average adult so I'd say the choice is up to the individual.

For anyone interested you can find out your blood volume by using the calculator I used here: https://www.omnicalculator.com/health/blood-volume

Someone posted a chart of how many grams of SN you would need to be effective by weight about halfway through page two of this thread here:

https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/im-alive-after-ingesting-20g-of-sn.105150/page-2

I hope this is helpful.

Might as well just add the chart right to this thread for others who stumble upon it.

BTW, the normal 20-25g for lethality is WELL above the amount needed for lethality, as an assurance for success.

I'd say do it based on the LD50 of SN (180mg per kg). LD50 is the amount of a material, given all at once, which causes the death of 50% (one half) of a group of test animals.

So 180 x 2 x body weight in kg = SN in mg (so divide by 1000)

If you weigh 190 kg (418 lbs) you would need to take 68 grams for ~100% chance of ctb. If you take 35 like the ppeh suggests that's a 51% chance of ctb.
If you take 38 grams like the table suggests, you'd have a 56 % chance of ctb.
Hope that helps.
