Yes it's a bad idea. Can increase chances of vomiting, and lowers absorption rate.

What @WhatIsMyLife said is absolutely correct. It's also important to follow Stan's guide. If you are drinking alcohol, you are not fasting, which is another thing that might make you vomit and/or lead to failure.
