It is not like cooking, who weighs stuff like this with "teaspoons". You can get a decent digital scale for 10 bucks online. To your question: It depends on the spoon, it depends on your definition of overflowing and normal. Go for the digital scale if you can!

Tablespoons are more like guess work! I personally prefer measuring out the substance precisely especially if it's going inside me to poison and kill me! That scale is just fine!
