I understand the "with my luck" . . . I wonder if a lot of us stay alive because of that "with my luck" I know it has now deterred me from some methods because, well, with my luck (that I know from trying to off myself) that I will mess it up again somehow, "with my luck."

N used to be OTC in the 50s... but of course they had to pull it off the shelves. Sodium nitrite (SN) is cheaper. It might not quite be as peaceful as N, but it sounds like it isn't too bad.

These days you can't even get a script for it except in very, very exceptional cases. "Modern medicine" is trying to completely phase out barbiturates as a sedative or palliative.

If you mean metoclopramide, it can be gotten on eBay. You mentioned expenses as an issue for you, but SN is REALLY cheap, and the meto is US$24 (with free shipping, as far as I can tell).
