Sleeping pills

Anyone have any recent experiences overdosing on sleeping pills, particularly a brand called Nytol?
I've heard mixed reactions, some websites say it can't kill you but then there are news articles about people overdosing on it (even by accident).
Maybe mixing it with other drugs and alcohol?
Not sure if this would be a better method to go as I can order them off Amazon.

Says it requires 20 to 40 mg/kg of body weight.

Large overdose may cause rhabdomyolysis, convulsions, delirium, toxic psychosis, arrhythmias, coma and cardiovascular collapse.

I found a package with 32 x 25 mg pills which would require 5 boxes at $10 each. Sounds like SN is much more peaceful and cheaper.

Please don't. Nytol will really mess you up. Sleeping agents will result in you waking up with all sorts of worse issues. I've heard Diphenhydramine to be particularly bad.

Because modern sleeping pills are designed to be non fatal in overdose. They also have tiny amounts of emetic in them to encourage vomiting if you ingest too many.

First, the active ingredient in Nytol is Diphenhydramine. This is a just Benadryl and it is not a sleeping pill. It is an anti-histamine. One of the side effects of Diphenhydramine is sleepiness. And so evil drug companies repackage and market it as a sleep aid. The end result is that generic Benadryl can be purchased for $0.02 while they can sell Nytol for around $0.25 per tablet. So by selling it as a sleep aid they can get people to pay more than 10x the cost of the regular drug.

Agree about Diphenhydramine, I guess I would try with sleeping pills, this is not the same as pills with barbiturates long time ago.
