Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

So, I just googled my username on here, and found that there are several sites indexing SanctionedSuicide.net, which to me is slightly concerning. Have the site administrators considered this? What are their thoughts on the matter?
I've thought about this a bit. While I want the site to be a resource, I suspect that letting it be indexed by search engines is more likely to bring trouble (journalists looking for an easy article publish; evangelists show up) than it will benefit the site via new members.
I've likened the situation to being like that of the Underground Railroad. We are all seeking our own peculiar form of liberation in a society which seeks to keep us chained to this life ... for our own good, naturally. I suspect a little more secrecy is called for. We are defectors seeking escape, after all.
They can't take it down if SS is hosted on servers of a country that hasn't any law against this. Maybe some kids will try to ddos it to impose their biased ethics onto us.
