I understand this and have a long list as well. I think I'm going to slowly add to it.

Are my first two because we formed a strong bond when I first arrived here.

BPD got me into the game threads and she's still the SS meme queen if you ask me.

Widow was very wise and in alot of ways she was like the female version of myself at the time.

I see names I want to add, but am only getting to know people now. I don't think it's my place to commemorate them here - right or wrong.

I keep thinking about Faust. He said my friendship was like a soulmate bond and I understood exactly what he meant. He is such a gift in my life through hard times. Glad to have a friend like him. Such a smart, compassionate, torn, young man. He deserves nothing less than tranquility.

Thanks for opening this thread. It was long, long overdue. Saves other goodbye threads from getting derailed. The sad thing is there are so many names I could run off here, goodbyes never get any easier, no matter how many times we say them.

[Lost in a Dream]

It feels like it's too little too late, but discovering that Faust was gone before I had a chance to say goodbye hit me a lot harder than I expected since I didn't personally know him all that well (but I wish I did). What I did know about him was that he was always very supportive of everyone, he loved dolphins, and he was a storm chasing nut like me, even though neither of us have been able to do it for a long time.

He told me once that chasing the storms was the only thing that made him feel alive and that was how I felt about it the two times that I did it with a friend years ago. I'm still hoping to do it one more time before I die and I'll be wishing he could be there the entire time if it happens. I hope you are at peace now Faust. Happy trails.

I want to add @all_pointless

I didn't know him outside of reading his posts. The transcript of his last chat hit me hard. "He moaned softly;" I could picture it all and it was the first of many times on here I felt helpless, happy for him, inspired and terrified all at the same time.

@aminend I hope you're doing well. Are you still affected by having watched him die? It's beautiful that you were there for him.
