For a while now I've been thinking about using SN DSMO.
I've been informed that DSMO is a neurotoxin.
I can, hypothetically, use just SN, but that requires an antiemetic regimen, which may impact my regular meds. There's also the fact SN itself may react unexpectedly to my meds. Keppra and Vimpat are one hell of a ride - I can't have even soy sauce because it has a TINY amount of alcohol.
Plan B would be nitrogen. The issue is, however, is that the tank hisses. The tsssssssss would drive me nuts and might seriously throw me into a seizure. Also, nitrogen is heavier than air (ever so slightly), so plain ol head bag might not work. I'm thinking of getting a tank or two, a small tent, and going that way to recycle the nitrogen from the head bag or skip the head bag altogether.
Again, the problem: hissing. I'm pondering getting a liquid nitrogen "bucket", opening it up inside the tent. The sound of bubbling water feels nicer, almost like a massage.
Issue #2: liquid nitrogen is cold. Very cold. It might freeze the tent.
Imagine money is not an issue - I got some loans approved for medical stuff which might fail and therefore force me into CTB.

What would be a decent way to either quiet down the hissing from the tank, or make liquid nitrogen not flash freeze the tent? I'm currently thinking of putting the liquid nitrogen bucket in a wooden box of sorts and have it let the "steam" out into my (currently) hypothetical tent.
Is liquid nitrogen actually JUST very cold nitrogen or is there some other stuff in there as well that could make it less than optimal compared to an actual nitrogen tank?

To be clear: right now I'm just throwing the two ideas around, trying to look at them from different perspectives, which is why I'm being a wee bit stupid, half joking half serious. Serious discoveries were made by people just fucking around. I do hope for the surgery to work, but... it can fail... and if that happens I want to be ready.

Have you tried wearing noise-cancelling headphones? Even without music playing, a good set can greatly reduce ambient noise. If that's still not enough, you could listen to some pleasant ambient noise (sound of the sea, birdsong, whatever relaxes you). That should mask the hissing noise.
Also, nitrogen is heavier than air (ever so slightly), so plain ol head bag might not work.
The head bag works such that it allows any CO2 you expel from your lungs to exit the bag. CO2 is much heavier than air (in relative terms). You empty the air from the bag first and then fill the bag with nitrogen before placing it over your head.

I really can't see this working. A tent is not a closed environment so I doubt you would never reach the nitrogen concentration levels needed.

It's essentially pure nitrogen in liquid form.

Nitrogen should work fine in a typical exit bag --it would have worked fine for me, but I flubbed it (survival instinct).

The hissing of the N2 flowing into the bag was very noticeable, and after my last attempt I resolved that I would wear earbuds with some music if I were to try again. (Full on headphones would be difficult to make work with the bag, and could interfere with fully purging the bag of air.) Alternately, some simple foam earplugs would probably do the trick.

Using a small tent wouldn't work, even with liquid N2: you can't purge the air adequately to create an inert gas atmosphere.

Would attaching... I don't know... a hose or something to a liquid n2 tank work? I scoured the internet today and can't find n2 gas, just liquid.
Either liquid or n2 generators, and those are the size of my apartment.
