I know that I'm not the most physically fit person, but I have a hard time knowing how to control my weight. It's been a problem all my life. I starve myself sometimes, but I binge eat other times, and the effect on my weight is not the best. I think I am too fat.

I think that exercising is probably going to help a bit, but I want to know how other people have it. Do you exercise? If so, do you diet? What do you do to exercise? How do you gain the motivation to exercise?

Start walking to build your physical endurance. You can also bike or swim but walking somewhere is easy and enjoyable as long as the weather permits.

I've been fairly successful with a low-carb diet. Lost nearly 40 pounds in a few months, no starvation needed. For exercise, I recommend a gym membership and a personal trainer, if you can afford it. Do it at least three times a week, for at least an hour.

I'm not the best person who can help you but i can share my experience:

I try to wake up 5:00 am for do some running at least 3 times per week.
About my diet: In one time of my life i used to eat and purge hehe, right now i haven't do it since one year maybe.
I fast 1 day per week, i also used to fast as long as i could, first was for spiritual reasons but after some time i started to have a toxic relationship with food, i try to control myselft in that subject and right now what usually i do it's intermittent fasting for 14-18 hrs.

You need to find the excercise that enjoy most (or hate less), i think that once you get used to it your body will want to excercise by inertia. Also: the motives that you have need to be strong and in that way it's less easy give up and lastly DON'T OBSESS, you can convert a healthy thing in your worst enemy, listen to your body; it will tell you the rythm that you should follow.

Good luck. :)

I do sit-ups twice a day, one when I wake up, and the last one when I go to bed ;-)
