*Christian Death - Romeo's Distress
*Kanye West - Flashing Lights
*Tricky - Hell Is Round The Corner
*Siouxsie and The Banshees - Forever (this one is a little sad)
*Roy Ayers Ubiquity - Everybody Loves the Sunshine
*Iggy Pop - Nightclubbing
*Arto Lindsay - Child Prodigy

The dominant themes in all of these songs don't necessarily point to life and/or death (especially Nightclubbing), but I've found these to be quite comforting. Making peace with ctb is way easier if you are surrounded by sentimental music IMO.

My entire ctb "playlist" is kind of loud and celebratory. No matter how hard I try, I can't think of ctbing as sad or morose. I'm exiting the world! It's basically the closest thing I have to a "childhood dream!" I've been waiting for this for so long! I finally get to stand up for myself and what I want! Other people will be free of my toxic influence!
