It seems such a peaceful way to go.. but its not too poplar, is it because of the risk of brain damage?

From what I heard if you can't pass out from hyperventilating it's not worth trying. It requires lots of practice.

Yet shouldn't happen if your body is deprived of oxygen
From what I heard if you can't pass out from hyperventilating it's not worth trying. It requires lots of practice.
Managed to pass out today - for the first time!

I almost died from this and it was peaceful but even so I wouldn't do it because of the risks. I was young and kept swimming underwater in the pool until I passed out.
