Sanctioned Suicide

For anyone out there considering shallow water blackout, would you leave a note so that people knew it was suicide or let it be ruled an accident? I haven't actually seen any reports of suicide with this method and I'm pretty sure it would be ruled accidental in most cases unless there was major evidence to say otherwise.
So my question is would you use this to your advantage and let family/friends think that your death was accidental or would you want them to know the truth and leave some kind of note?
