I am thinking about dissapearing without a trace and then ctbing alone i the forest. Should I follow up on this feeling or let it pass. This feeling is so strong.
You want to be found, if you don't eventually a missing person report will be filed and your next of kind won't get any closure either. Atleast let them know what happened.
it depends, disappearing without a trace is very hard to begin with, and if you have people that care for you, or at least notice your disappearance then they will immediately contact the police and if you don't CTB right away then you can expect them to frustrate your plans.
If you plan on disappearing, if you have any family or loved ones that you are on good terms then maybe writing a letter for them might help them come to terms with your decision to ctb. You don't have to at all. But most of the time letters can provide the family with a little bit of comfort as well as understanding / closure.
