I know pretty much the whole situation with cutting. It's isn't a good method. I'll start off by acknowledging that. But I wonder. If I am truly determined and know what I'm doing...can it be done. The bathtub is starting to look more and more like the final bed im seeking. I am confident that opening the proper "incisions" laterally bisecting the radial arteries in both arms then submerging myself in warm water will give me the exit I seek.
Okay I AM JUST discovering the search feature. Sry.

I have heard that making a small incision on the inner thigh cuts the femoral artery...you bleed out within 10-15 seconds. Although I don't know how true this is. Oh, if only I could die like Whitney Houston...in a warm bath, wine glass in hand, and with a bottle of Xanax!

Trigger warning, this is graphic.

My dad was a death investigator, and I once went with him when he taught a course on scene investigation. He did a slide show presentation of various scenes, and one was a guy who had cut in the bathroom, I think he used the sink for water. There was blood all over the walls, floor, and every surface. What I recall was my dad saying that the guy had likely taken quite a while to die, probably over an hour, and had to keep cutting because of coagulation, and losing and regaining consciousness. I remember him saying that it took a lot of determination for the guy to go all the way through with it.

Christ, what a horrible way to go. After having the courage to go through with it, then seeing it failing and having to do it again, and again.

There's horrible, and then there's that. I don't see suicide as romantic and twee believe me, there's no kill switch on us, but I still felt for that poor bastard waking up and having to finish what he'd started. I'm still human, might wanna die myself but I do have empathy for others and I really don't want anyone suffering more than neccessary.

Or would you have preferred me putting wow, that sounds fun, I love blood and I love dropping in and out of consciousness, that's the way I wanna go.

No you caught me wrong, I've see bad stuff, I've seen suicide, you know the jumpers before you get there. They are not there. That person had some balls to do what he did.

it's horrible that our mind is so destructive that we have to even look at this path. I feel empathy and sorrow for those, I didn't think thatI'd be one now in that boat.

no disrespect at all, you're post is correct. Wish us Peace for all @SpareWheel

No denying he had balls, bigger than mine that's for sure. Peace to you and everyone, including that poor soul.

Wouldn't the carotid artery be the best bet, considering it transports blood to the brain and is fairly large? Easily accessible to right handers as well. I thought about vertically cutting that one open, or the right side of the neck in general.

Yes it would be initial soreness but fast drain out of blood, no turning back there

I believe you; nix that. It's back to full suspension. I reason that if your father was a death investigator, then he knows what he's talking about. It has motivated me to stick with hanging.

Unfortunately, N is beyond the reach of most of us. Don't you think that folks would be using it, were it generally available?

I wish there should be a person who can provide us N so that we can go in peace

It would take a bit more than a small incision to get to the femoral artery (which is surrounded by muscle). The depth of the femoral artery In a slender person is approximately an inch under the skin. In someone larger it could be as much as inches under the skin.
