What self-soothing things help you to feel better when you're low? Mine are:
1.Soft fleece hoody
2.Big soft thick socks
3.Colour changing lights- my favourites are my bubble lamp with plastic fish that "swim" in the water, and the swirly lights that look like the northern lights.
4. Any sort of warm milky drink.
5. Staying in bed with fresh bed linen.
6. Curling up on the sofa and shut out the world.
7. Weighted blanket.
8. Watership Down on audiobook on my audio headband.

Sometimes these things help little, sometimes they don't at all but for me:
  • curl up and rock myself like a child
  • listen to music that is considered depressing or disturbing (for some reason this calms me)
  • eating chocolate ice cream
  • playing specifically chapter 6 of Celeste
  • age regression and then playing with plushies or watching baby shows

Concur with the curl up and rock, chocolate ice cream.
The only music (not sure it is classified as music) that sometimes helps me is "Falling" by Delia Derbyshire. I really like that.
I wasn't sure what Celeste is so I looked it up. Do you mean the game? It looks really interesting and I'm going to look into it some more. I used to find gaming a great escape/distraction but can't find one that works lately.
Edit: chatgpt says Celeste is available on Switch and PS 4 so I'm gonna take a look today. Thanks ♥️♥️♥️

For the music that soothes me its these mainly:

Yea when I mean Celeste I mean the video game. Definitely a good game if you like hard platformers (there is an assist mode for if you want it to be easier) and the story impacted me quite a bit when I first played it.

OFF really resonates. Portal game music is too dark for me. :-)
