Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If anyone is knowlagable on self harm can they let me know what are safe places to cut without worrying about too much blood loss. I've been cutting on my arms for months now but im running out of space and I don't know where else I can cut. If anyone knows any information would be appriciated thanks!
I would recommend not self harming at all. But im a fucking hypocrite and i'd be doing it too if i hadnt made a promise to someone a couple years ago to stop. When I ran out of room on my forearms I moved to cutting my upper thighs because I knew no one would see it and theyre so fat I had a lot of room to work with. OP i recommend reaching out to friends and family and not hurting yourself. Its not worth it. You deserve to respect and love yourself. Reconsider pls

It's curious that so many people go for the arms. I wonder why.
Upper arms, belly, chest, thighs are probably the easiest places. Won't hit anything vital. There is no rule saying you can't go over old scars. I have scars that cross.
Technically you don't have to cut at all unless you just really have a thing for bleeding.
I have cigarette burns along my wrists but there's burning/branding in general.
There are more sophisticated and discreet methods as well.
You can just exercise. Literally no one will bat and eye and you're still putting your body through hell. Martial arts conditioning is really good, any extreme routine will do the trick, or even something as simple as planking on your knuckles.
You can squeeze ice.
You can self flagellate. This one is even done by monks and certain religious practitioners. You may even discover a new kink.
You can walk around on your knees.
Pull your hair out. No one will notice a few strands, but you can just do your body hair instead and not worry about that at all.
Honestly, the list of ways to casually hurt yourself for masochistic reasons is so long that the easier question would be how not to do it.
I personally wouldn't recommend any of it but if your brain got wired wrong when you were developing and pain got tied up in your pleasure center like me then who am I to stop you.

ive honeslty never thought of all these ways thanks for opening me eyes. I do already to exercise i row for about 3 3 1/2 hours a day and it puts my body thru hell but too me its not like the same feeling as cutting but I thank you for teaching me!
i've seen this chart thrown around before on various other sites, but i feel it's a good resource for people who aren't ready to make the step into recovery but need places to harm that aren't going to put them in more danger. full disclaimer though, i did not make this chart and no amount of cutting will ever be completely "safe." know what to look out for, and don't be afraid to seek medical attention if needed

I always do it in my wrists. But i see people do it in their tights (upper legs). I wouldn't do ir there just cause i dont like marks on my legs but thats just a personal thing. What i do usually is let wrist heal and then starting again (i am stupid and addicted to pain as a borderline)
This is an old thread.
But from what I know.
scratching with needles can be hurting and let no scars at all in the long term.
It is burning under the shower or when you have clothes on it sliding.
Burning is hurting for 15 seconds only and let long lasting scars.
Cutting deep, let the blood out, but let also scars that last long. It is hurting but for myself less than scratching because I scratch several time so the area is bigger than with a cut.
I was also used to insert a needle in my veins when I was young. It was just showing bruises for several day.
For me, the best is scratching. The ratio pain on last long scars is the highest.
Of course better to not start.
I am sorry you came to this coping skill to deal with stuff
Hug!

I'm a blood fiend. For me, cutting was always about copious amounts of blood.
But unless you sever an artery, it's virtually impossible to bleed out. It's simply not a fast enough blood flow and will clot.
Most arteries are protected by bone, ligaments, tendons and other protective tissues. Not only are they difficult to access but it's agonisingly painful. Even a tiny needle hitting an artery is something you really know about.
I've cut my throat and know other people who have done the same. Only known one person die that way and I believe they choked on their own blood.
Hygiene is the number one priority. Because the blood loss might not kill you, but a bacterial infection will. It's not an easy death either. I had septicaemia once and the smell of your own flesh rotting isn't something you soon forget.
Don't recommend.

It all depends on the deepness of the cuts, but as someone who prefers to cut thin and long, my thighs have always been my #1! Easy to hide and easy to bandage. Stay safe, don't cut too deep <3
