Self Harm suggestion

I want to cut myself but I can't bear to see my own blood or the sensation of the blade piercing my dry skin. I'm thinking, would a lube work? Would it be terribly hurt? Any suggestions is welcome.

Lube could maybe work, never tried it. You can try cutting with different types of blades, as the varying levels of sharpness affect how it feels. There are charts for tattoos that show where your skin is more sensitive, so you could avoid those areas. Start with shallow cuts and you should not bleed much. Sometimes just a bit of blood comes to the surface, but does not drip or run out. You can also buy over-the-counter numbing sprays or creams that could make it less painful too.
