Anything with the intention to purposefully harm yourself is considered self-harm. Self-harm isn't just cutting, it can be burning, hitting, eating too much or too less, etc. In the end it's all about the intent behind it and all forms of self-harm are valid

Yeah I mostly mean something that leaves bruised and scars
