If you got nitrate then you have the wrong one, you want nitrite. I don't actually know what effect nitrate has on the body.

Thank you so much. I couldn't find nitrite online. Any direction? I can't believe it's come to this… I have been dealing wirh a chronic illness no one believed. Lost everything and cannot quell suicidal ideations to end the pain once and for all.

It can be used as fertilizer and in explosives, mostly. If ingested over a long period of time it increases your risk of intestinal cancer. Would not recommend.
