Now that you have obtained your method, whether it be N, sturdy rope, location for jumping (if you choose that method), firearm, poisons, etc. make sure you always secure it AT ALL COSTS!
This is really important as obtaining said resources and methods oftenly don't come by easy and sometimes, you might never get the chance in the future. By securing your methods, this means hiding it from others, having alibis, different explanations and vehemently defending it from anyone that is trying to intervene, pry into, or interfering with you being able to carry out your method. For example, if you are obtaining a firearm, it would be best to hide it from people you know who are anti-gun, who might object to it or try to stop you, or people who might know you too well (friends, family, other close people). Also, behaving in a normal way as to not set off red-flags is important too since you don't want people to suspect anything unusual and try to gain probable cause to stick their nose into your business/life.
Personally, I'm still working on my method at this time (firearm) and the only things that I'm waiting for before going for it are waiting for the right price and also when the occasion is right (having the right courage, gumption, and season).
With that said, I will be securing my method as best as I can when I get it, and I will fight my absolute hardest when others challenge it, try to intervene, or try to take it away from me. By this, I mean if I get any hints or learn that people around me IRL are trying to take my gun, or interfere with my right to die, I will not only fight with everything I have to protect my method (legally, socially, civilly, etc.), but I may even fast track to ctb'ing just out of protecting my method as well as desperation and fear of losing my way out (of this mad world).
