Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

It's a little funny that this is my first thread on SaSu, but I was wondering if anyone else does this?

I keep typing up really long threads about my feelings to post here, but I always end up thinking that I don't know if I actually want anyone to see or respond to them. So I just cut and paste them into a text document so I can save them, and now I have a small collection of journal-esque entries that are addressed to this forum.

It's a little interesting, actually, because even though I also write in a regular journal semi-consistently in general, I don't talk about any of that stuff in there. So it's kinda cool... I guess? To see the way that certain topics get "unlocked" for me if I start out with the intention of posting here.

Does anyone else get cold feet about making posts, or feel that the things you write reveal "hidden" thoughts and emotions you don't have space for anywhere else?

Yes, I do, I'm a really socially anxious person in general, so I don't use forums or talk to people IRL that often. But usually getting your thoughts off your chest, wheather someone responds to them or not, will help you out in more ways than you realize. Just the relief of it, that's it out there and off your chest. Sometimes I debate just posting my long vent notes here, but Ik aint no one gonna read allat, mine are like pages and pages long haha.

im the same way with journaling which is why i stopped trying with it. i wont actually write my real thoughts and feelings so it feels fake, pointless and incomplete. i have no problem writing nearly everything on here though. i guess i'd rather strangers who relate read my thoughts than my family invading my privacy and reading them in a journal. it's happened before when i was younger so no wonder i cant physically write and prefer this forum. is there anything my family hasn't ruined for me?

btw welcome to sasu <3 i hope that this can become a safe space for ur vents. i'll look forward to seeing more of ur posts.

I do so too!
I already wrote about difficult emotions way before I joined the site, but now I also write posts and often get too embarassed/anxious to post them. I might end up sharing some of it/opening up more when I am closer to CTB/have a set date. I think getting my thoughts out before I pass might give me some closure.
