In partial hang, everyone says it is better to place rope on the top of ur neck, above your adams apple. But when i place rope at the bottom of my neck instead, ı go unconcious in 10 seconds with no pain at all. Is there any disadvantages of placing rope at the bottom of ur neck?
I don't think there's a right or wrong way if your end game is to CTB. If you construct your airways or carotid arteries for long enough, you will die. I'm positive lots of people who have CTB via hanging just put the rope around their neck and jumped and didn't bother with proper placement per se. If lower on the neck works for you, then I'm sure it's fine.
