Hello! Do you think this rope is strong enough to tie around the branch of a tree? I'm unsure if it will start fraying but this is the best option for comfort.

Also, is 15mm too thick around the neck? Do you think it could be counterproductive using such a thick rope or does that even matter? Would love your thoughts! 0ED45E16 8433 4BDC B8C6 0E7A305B4F4F

Yer I bought a cotton one too although I'm now for the moment practicing/experimenting with mains wire and then trying to pad with socks over the carotid arteries. Thicker rope (based on what I've read) is fine up to 20mm and of you're worried about fraying then perhaps just make sure that you have plenty of spare rope before the knots so that the fraying never gets close to the most strained parts of the rope. 15mm rope will also be more comfortable than the thinner one.
