Boy, oh boy. Have you ever had a truly ridiculous idea and followed through with it?

I'm sure you can guess what my idea was based on the title. But you might be thinking to yourself, "How exactly is rock climbing a bad idea? Sure it can be risky, but it must be a fantastic hobby, yeah?" or something along those lines. Yes, you're right. It is a fantastic hobby, when done appropriately and safely. Climbing has always been a passion of mine since I was a kid, and now I've chosen to take it a step further and do some actually dangerous crap. I've been rock climbing without any equipment for a while now; it's just me, myself, and I. Obviously, this is terribly dangerous and irresponsible - but that's the point.

Knowing that one day a rock could break beneath my fingers or that my leg could slip, my body tumbling down and leaving me possibly dead or paralyzed, excites me greatly. I'm not trying to use this as a CTB method, but the chances of my death are increasing with each journey since I'm getting so reckless.
I've had a few close calls with wobbly and unstable rocks, but my luck will eventually run out and I'll be gone one day. I'm not looking forward to the possibility of being rendered crippled, but that's all part of the fun. It scares me shitless sometimes, yet I keep doing it just to feel something.

Free climbing is never recommened to anyone and should be only done by professionals. I'm no professional, and I never bring a partner with me. Doesn't matter if you are experienced, free climbing is considered absolutely insane, so I doubt I could persuade anyone to join me in my shenanigans. Not that I'd actually try to persuade anyone; no one should get hurt except myself.

I'm perfectly aware that it will be my demise, and despite the various consequences, I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I'm an adrenaline junkie, and it's the only thing that makes me feel good and enjoy myself. I'll never grow tired of the sensation. Each time feels like a new and exhilarating opportunity to screw up my life.

That being said, what kind of risky activities do you enjoy doing?

LOVE rock climbing. Nothing like the physical representation of overcoming hurdles and advancing! (Even if your own life is a disaster flop). I've done it indoors twice in my life. If I weren't so depressed I'd do more.

I am too scared to do any risk taking activities. I cannot enjoy anything at all. A few years ago, I tried to climb a mountain but I simply could not do it and I panicked so much. I do not cope well in potentially dangerous situations. I will never be able to understand how you could do the rock climbing with the knowledge that you may end up paralysed. That is my worst nightmare. I wish you the best.
