we're talking about the fate of our whole lives. why are people so polite? why are they so patient? why are they so forgiving of gangsterism and betrayal?
It's very difficult to understand. I believe that it's because the dominator culture is increasingly more and more sophisticated in its perfection of subliminal mechanisms of control. And I don't mean anything grandiose and paranoid, I just mean that through press releases and sound bites and the enforced idiocy of television, these are our lives, the goverment has taken control over our whole lives from school to taxes why do we allow a authority to rule over our lives
their a bunch of control freaks dictating what we can or can't do with our own lives i am sick to death of this dictatorship

all i want out of life is my choice to die to be honored it's better than living as a slave
what i want is a revolution to overthrow the government

I think we are subjugated from the moment we are born. First, our parents, then school and further education, then jobs and society. We are taught to accept it- just like our parents were.

Kids who aren't given rules and guidelines tend to become a complete nightmare at some stage because they won't accept authority.

I do appreciate where you are coming from. I hate living in this Capitalist world with it's corrupt corporations and governments. Still- when there are SO many of us- I think we probably do need rules to keep order. I do wish our 'leaders' were more in touch with the common people though.

If you scrap governments and presumably taxes with them- who funds public services? Police, prisons, fire, healthcare (where it's nationalised.) What happens to welfare and people who can't work? What happens to the elderly, or children who are being abused? If you leave it to individuals to look out for one another- do you really think they will? Even families don't always take care of one another! Do you think EVERYONE will contribute what they can? Or will some just take and not give?

Will the laws we have at the moment stay as they are? Bad luck for the progress of assisted suicide. How will laws change if there aren't central governments to change them? (Or, will there be no laws?) If we are all expected to still pay taxes- who will decide how that money is spent?

I know where you're coming from. There's a great many things I detest about this world. I just don't think a freeforall would necessarily work either.

Sadly- I think our very nature is corrupt. I'm not so sure people WANT to be part of a community. I think most of us are out for ourselves. Given the choice- I think it would be a scramble. If you abandon laws and government, I doubt people will want to share their wealth with those less fortunate than themselves. People try to get out of paying tax even now- when it's illegal to do so! I dread to think how people would act if there were no laws and no punishment for when those laws are broken. I expect it would be carnage- but- I get the impression you partly long for that?

i don't want a free-for-all, i do think laws and rules are needed i just think they've gone to far with the laws we have
if i want to smoke weed thats my choice not the governments to decide for me if i want to grow weed thats my choice if i want to did thats my choice, for the people who can't work with disability they should have the choice of euthanasia , the people would have to come together to decided how to fund public services it would be different for each city, let the elderly die there already to many of them for too few workers, all i know is i'd left life behind at 18 now 36 but my right to die as been taken away from me and i've been locked up for trying to kill my self, all they have done is prolong my suffering here when i could been long gone ,nobody was the right to kidnap you and lock you up just because you don't want to live anymore

Yeah- that sounds fair enough to me.
