Discussion Revert to old website format..

I figured I'd post the link for everyone who would like to easily revert changes, after seeing some other posts asking about the new looks of the website.

Here's the link to revert to the old format if you'd like to. Select 'light 2019' if you want the standard format. I prefer the light 2019 personally, but having the options to change the look is pretty cool though!

Hahaha!!! So that's what it looks like...I couldn't quite put my finger on it

It's still awesome that the staff added the option for us. I appreciate them! I'm sure that some people like it. But I think a lot of us like plain and simple, easy to read font.

To me at least it does look like that. But it was good that the mods gave us the chance to keep the old format. Lol

My brain got used to the old format. The old template looked epic. The new one looks like a kindergarten's website.

I find the SS banner/logo on the new themes intrusive and too bold. You can't get rid of it lol, it's very much there.

Sure.....if you're on a computer/laptop, a little trickier to find on a phone, & tricky for those of us who are not tech savvy.

I'm so pleased for you that you are so clever & automatically know how to do tech stuff...please be kinder to those of us who are less fortunate (for various reasons) in that regard.

I'm actually always on mobile too and this is the first forum I've ever joined, so I'm learning on the fly too. I was being a smart ass, but I don't think I am "so clever". My apologies I wasn't trying to be unkind. I assume the mods are suicidal too and they put in work to make this change. I've just seen a lot of threads disparaging the new look and it bothered me. I just assumed that if people are able to register, login, post threads, comment, react, etc, that they would be able to look over the site for a minute rather that shit on the new look. The mods updated the site's look while also giving everyone the option of choosing whatever format they like. Again, I'm very sorry I did not mean to offend anyone.

my reason to revert back. My brother will knock on my door and I can minimize most times before he walks in. I can't risk him seeing that HUGE banner across the top.

You can't see the number of likes you've got now. That's the only thing I don't like about it.
Is it worth reverting back just for that?

Yeah the banner thing and the lack of likes thing bug me, also the thread titles moving when you hover over them thing, but otherwise I think it looks great so I won't be reverting back for now. It does feel fresher.
