Something I have realized is your body isn't really you. Your body is just a device given to you by nature. To say that this device has been tried and tested is an understatement.

You are up against MILLIONS of years worth of evolution SPECIFICALLY designed to keep you alive. Whether your in extreme mental or physical agony these systems put in place by nature will activate regardless to keep you alive. Of course there probably is a point where the pain can be so so bad your SI might have little to no effectiveness.

I just want you to remember that. Nature has had millions of years to perfect its craft of keeping you living and reproducing.

The survival instinct can be very frustrating, as even know we want to die, we are programmed to survive. To me it is awful that the SI exists as it is determined to keep us suffering. Of course many people have managed to overcome the SI and ctb, and I think that many of them were probably completely desperate. I wish that ctb was not this difficult, I wish that there was a way to fall asleep and never wake without having to go through the ctb process.

SI is strong but some found a way to overcome it.
If the younger version of me had the same resources as I do, I'd be dead. Instead, I spent several days with horrible stomach ache cause the method I chose back then was not good enough. I wish I had some courage.

The fact that this body of mine has the singular purpose of producing more spawn is exactly why it has to be terminated.

What you call "you" our consciousness of self is also the result of millions of years of evolution. Even suicide is the result of evolution, otherwise there would be no suicide in the world. We age because evolution wants us to die as soon as our biological mission is accomplished. I know evolution wants nothing, but this way it is easier to write about this topic in a foreign language. What I want to say, you have to use the force of your opponent, like a judoka.

SI is more of a subconscious feeling than the concious desires of the person. If someone has SI ,that doesn't mean they want to live. It means some mechanism inside them is pushing for survival.

I've often pondered on this whole consciousness thing... I agree that as part of nature, everything that makes us up must have evolved to be that way. Including our brains, our thoughts and our awareness. Still, if evolutions goal is the survival of the species, then a mind focused on suicide has to have gone off track. Many people will suicide before they reproduce and many will not reproduce because they don't want the possibility of their children suffering the same as them. I guess you could argue it's 'survival of the fittest'- that makes evolutionary sense I guess. Better for my unhappy genes to die with me...

It has also been expressed in the memetic realm too. Many wise old men remarked that the old generation would die off to make room for the new when they had run out their time. And so it would be for every generation.

When this doesn't happen it stagnates the society. That's why you see today tha boomers Clinging on to the SUV until their last

Maybe the millennial will cling to the iPhone before being out in the old folks home but I doubt they'll even be that lucky

My guess , humans might get a few more years out of civilization. The more that die off lowers the demand for crude. A lot of pension funds would be back in the black and not have these massive liabilities

I still would want to CTB.

The body wants to stay alive not only mentally but also physically and will enable several layers of protection during any CTB attempt. For my DeBreather I have a very good mask that will be strapped and taped. Right after I attach the breathing hose I have a heavy strap to put around my wrists with my arms behind me so I can't reach for the mask while semi-conscious. Already tested the DeBreather and while some think it's not a great way to go I can say O2 dropped like a rock within a minute so all I need is for the mask to hold for 3-5 minutes maximum. I have taped the mask on to test and it's super hard to break the seal or pull. I'm good to go and SI will have a battle on its hands.

Survival Instinct can get fucked. I've had enough of this bullshit body and shitty society. It will rot like everything else, eventually. I'm pulling the plug in advance.
