Hello Guys. I have seen some guys complaining about their inability to pass out from hanging. If we know the exact reasons, i think this can be avoided. Could the persons who failed both partial and full tell the reasons for that.

For me, I kept feeling throat pain and I just wasn't losing consciousness. I was on the floor crying just begging the universe to end it, but it felt worrisome that I was only getting throat and head pain. As if I'll only end up with brain damage or something of that sort so I stopped every time. It's so hard to find that perfect spot where it just makes you lose consciousness :(

I tried partial on a doorknob as well, with a scarf. I had it tight enough to choke me but my body wouldn't let me do it. Then I tried to do it slowly while high but that didn't help, either. I guess it just wasn't time...

I tried several times in the span of a few days. After waiting for so long and not passing out (the longest around 40 seconds), the exploding head thing would freak me out and I'd stop out of fear of serious damage without death. None of it was necessarily painful, just uncomfortable, especially when I had to swallow. I could still breathe, but it was difficult. I used a door knob and mostly electric type cords. After more reading, I'm thinking that using the kneeling method with knees on the floor was also problematic, as I've read many times NOW not to do it that way. I plan on trying again soon. Not sure when.

BY THE WAY if you dont want to leave a red mark on your throat from suffoction you should put a t-shirt or fabric on the neck under the rope
thats make you clear neck without questions.

I dont think so.If the pressure is applied to the neck, there will be a mark.

I also tried partial on a doorknob with a belt, a scarf and a rope. None of those worked for me. I wonder if I need to do full suspension.

if you put pillow or any king of that thing under the rope it will leave no scars.

If hanging is a choice, then full suspension should be the way to go. It just seems to be a gamble with partial.

I agree with you..too many "if"s complicated with partial hanging. Better to get it done with full suspension, which leaves little to chance.
