Hello,

So basically it's my birthday in a few weeks and I am thinking of attempting before then. I really want it to be before then as I am turing 32 and I have a weird thing about even numbers, I only like odd ones so want to die on 31. It is essential for me to go somewhere far away, a new country. I always hated where I was from and have spent my whole life trying and failing to escape from it so I am thinking about flying away to die and finally escape even though flight prices are extortionate right now. My question is for anyone who's attempted before, what do you think is the reality ill actually manage it once I get there and get to the moment. I have SN and want to go but I'm scared I'll waste all the money and not be able to do it because of survival instinct. What do you think are the chances I can manage?

Taking a flight to a different country sure is one hell of a step. I don't know if you will overcome your survival instinct but being far from home in a foreign country might help you overcome that survival instinct. At least I think it would help me, but again no one can tell you whether or not you'll overcome it

If you choose to try it, I hope you find the peace you're looking for

Hi. Also 31 here and don't want to live to see 32. I think for me, if I were traveling solo to ctb, it may help with survival instinct because of the withdrawal and isolation a trip like that would bring. But it also could potentially be fun to finally actually escape where you're from?

Yeah the thing for me is I've tried to escape so many times and always end up stuck back here due to visa issues, lack of money, health problems, housing problems, work problems...there's always something that I can never succeed...usually lack of money. But believe me I have tried....tried and failed enough times now. This is how I know I'm ready.

Oh, I was just thinking that if you did travel maybe you could have some fun/interesting experiences before you CTB. That's really shitty to hear that you've been held back from escaping by all those things. It's bullshit.

I'd think it'd be difficult to get SN through TSA
