• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

So, picking up a 357 on Tuesday. Ready to go and backing out isn't an option (long story) so I need to to do this right away. I hope to get hollow point bullets and I'll find out Tuesday for certain.

I really need some help here. Now, I know it's recommended to go through the mouth toward the brain steam, but I have no experience with gun nor the time. I must shoot this thing and make it count. On the side above the ear makes ?

Help!

You want to hit the brainstem. If you go on the side of the head, you will hit the occipital, temporal, or parietal lobe(s). You don't want to do this. These are all parts of your cerebrum, which are responsible for higher functions. Think stuff like spacial perception, you senses (touch, sight, scent), memory, and so forth. You want to destroy the brainstem.

The brainstem is made up of the pons, medulla oblongata, and midbrain. These parts regulate breathing and connect the rest of your brain to your spinal cord, and thus, your body. If you destroy the brainstem, all basic functions which sustain life stop and your brain becomes severed from your body. It is possible to continue life with a damaged cerebrum (although you would pretty much be a veggie), but if the brainstem is destroyed there is no life. Brain death is medically the point where someone is dead.

The reason shooting through your mouth is the best is because it essentially acts as a guide. The brainstem is behind the back of your throat. You're using anatomical landmarks to make a decent approximation of where you should be aiming. But if do "gun under the chin" or "side of the head" you're taking a lot bigger of a guess.

Don't overthink and screw it up. 357 with hollowpoints shot from the side of the head, will reliably do the job. Best of luck for your attempt. 👍👍
